- I have a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition, and I work for a Student Success Center at a local university, where my husband is a sociology professor. We have one rescue dog named Fitzwilliam Darcy (my undergraduate degree was in literature), and a son named Benjamin. In our free time, we like to go to soccer games, play at the park, and put together Legos.
